Chart

The Chart screen displays the exchange rate dynamics of the selected trading instrument. Charts are widely used for graphical analysis, study of indicators and forecasting of the market price.
A user is provided huge opportunities to customize chart by applying chart settings and available tools like indicators, drawing tools, patterns, prediction and measurement tools, and many others.

To view the list of symbols, select Charts in the main menu.
To refresh the list of symbols, tap .
To go to 
chart settings, tap .

Tip: If you are using a tablet, you can open multiple charts. Select the number of charts (one, two, or four), and then select symbols in the symbol list.

To place an order, tap  > Trade > Go to New Order.

Tip: Turn your device horizontally for a more convenient chart view. This will make the displayed time interval considerably wider, and it will be easier for you to view the chart data. 
Display parameters will change automatically according to the screen width.

Chart menu

Tap   to go to Chart menu.

The menu contains the following options:

  • Chart scheme: Chart color scheme: Green and RedBlack on WhiteGreen on BlackCustom. If you select Custom, you can set a preferred color for each chart element.
  • Histogram Settings: Settings of the histogram:
    • Histogram Bar Size, %: Histogram bar size (1-100).
    • Histogram Bar Thickness, %: Histogram bar thickness (1-40).

Chart Custom Toolbar

Select one of the symbols in the chart list.
Select the following options and customize the chart:
  •  Periodicity. Time frame of the chart (from 1 minute to 1 month).
  •  Chart Type. Visualization of the Bid/Ask price movements of the finance instruments represented in lines, columns, or another form (Bars, Candles, Line, Area, etc.).
  •  Indicators. Statistics used to measure current market conditions and forecast economic trends (Aroon, Chop zone, EMA cross, UO, Zig Zag, etc.). View the details here.
  •  Chart settings. Chart properties including symbol bars colors, status lines (Symbol, OHLC, Indicator values, etc.), scales (Symbol/Indicator name label, No overlapping lable, etc.).
  •  Snapshot. Possibility to save the image of the chart or copy the image url.

Chart additional settings

To change chart settings, tap  at the bottom of the screen:

  • Show L2 histogram: Show Level 2 histogram on the chart.
  • Show OHLC: Show OHLC prices of the last bar in the upper-left of the chart.
  • Grid: Show the chart grid.
  • Ask line: Show Ask horizontal line.
  • Bid line: Show Bid horizontal line.
  • Order lines: Show 0rder lines.

Indicators

Tap Indicators in the Chart menu. In Indicator Settings, you can add and delete indicators, and change indicator settings.

Technical Indicators are a result of mathematical calculations based on the values of price and/or volume. You can use indicators to analyze market trends and predict price changes.

To add an indicator to the chart, select the check box, and then tap Save.

Depending on their functions, indicators are divided into the following groups:

  • Trend Indicators help visualize current trends in the market. They reflect 3 trends in the movement of prices: Up moves, Down moves, and Sideways price moves.

  • Oscillators are technical indicators that are used to analyze the market situation, especially when the market is not showing any definite trend. They help to determine the extremes of market prices and short-term overbought and oversold market conditions.

  • Volumes confirm the strength of a trend or indicate its weakness for any specific period of time.

  • Indicators by Bill Williams are developed by a professional trader Bill Williams within his well-known trading system.

How are indicators are displayed?

When you add indicators, this affects how the chart is displayed. Depending on the type of indicator you select, it can be displayed in the chart area (internal type) or in the additional field below the chart (external type). This allows you to use several indicators on one chart, which helps to predict the price trend more accurately.

Indicator settings

To go to Indicator Settings, tap Indicators in the Chart menu. Indicator parameters may vary depending on the type of indicator.

To change the indicator parameters, select the indicator using the check box, and then tap .

Following are the settings that are common for all indicators:

  •  Hide. If enabled , the applied indicator will be hidden on the chart.
  •  Remove. The applied indicator will be removed from the chart. 
  •  Settings. Indicator settings including Inputs and Style.
 You can save all the applied option and Save as Default. Also, if necessary, you can reset all the settings clicking Reset Settings.
