News includes the following sections:

  • Live News: Forex news. Tap Details to go the Live Forex market news page of the site.

  • Live Crypto News: Cryptocurrency market news.

  • Forex Analytics: Daily forecasts for major currency pairs. Tap Details to go the ForexMarket Analyses page of the FXOpen site.

  • Economic Calendar: Economic events and indicators. The expectation of market activity for each trading instrument is shown by the following indicators: HighMediumLow. To set the Number of events in the Economic calendar and apply filters, tap Settings.

  • Financial Datarecent and upcoming events that help a trader assess the situation, the financial condition of companies, predict the growth / fall in share prices

    • Recent dividends: Data on recent dividends announced by stocks.
      dividend is the distribution of some of a company's earnings to its shareholders. On the declaration date, the Board of Directors announces the dividend, the size of the dividend, the record date, and the payment date.
    • Upcoming dividends: Data on upcoming dividends, which are about to be declared.
    • Recent splits: Data related to latest stock splits.
      stock split is when a company increases the number of its outstanding shares to boost the stock's liquidity. The price of each share splits as well. Reverse stock splits are the opposite transaction, in which a company lowers the number of shares outstanding, raising the share price accordingly.
    • Upcoming splits: Data related to upcoming stock splits.
    • Recent M&A: Latest data coverage on mergers and acquisitions.
      Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) involve the process of combining two companies into one. Mergers occur when two companies join forces, typically happen between two businesses of the same size. Acquisitions occur when one company buys another company and folds it into its operations.
    • Upcoming M&A: Data coverage on the expected mergers and acquisitions.
    • Recent IPOs: Data on recent IPOs (initial public offerings) when a private company becomes public by selling its shares on a stock exchange.
    • Upcoming IPOs: Data on upcoming IPOs (initial public offerings).
    • Recent earnings: EPS estimates, analyst consensus, earnings history, and more.
      An earnings report is a publicly-traded company’s outline of performance over the specified period. It shows the company's economic health. The most important parts of an earnings report are the income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement, and statement of shareholder equity.
    • Upcoming earnings: upcoming earnings events.
Tap Settings to filter the financial data by the following options: All, Favorites, Portfolio, Favorites & Portfolio.

The following features help you efficiently search and filter information in News:

  • You can add news and analytical articles to favorites by selecting the star icon  in the news list or on the article page. To open Favorites, tap the Satr icon in the appropriate section.
  • To use the search feature, tap Filter.
  • To refresh the list of articles, tap Refresh.
  • To switch between news articles, use arrows (Back/Forward).
